Hello, I have a problem with my gaming laptop. It has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 dedicated graphics card and is generally really good for gaming, for example I can play a game such as GTA V with full details on smooth 120 FPS. But when I try to run GTA SA, a much older and less demanding game, it runs on about 10 FPS with lowest details, which gradually drops to 1 FPS. The only plausible explanation is that it always runs on the integrated graphics card (Intel HD Graphics) instead of the dedicated graphics card.
I forced the process to use the dedicated graphics card in NVIDIA Control Panel but it still always uses the integrated graphics card. My question is, should I complain to the seller about this and return the laptop to him for repairs? Or is this something that I need to deal with on my own? It has a 2 year warranty which expires in 1 month, so I'm asking here before it expires forever.
Also I'm open to any ideas on how to force the game to use the dedicated the graphics card, but I tried many solutions to no avail (I can't name them though because it's been a long time since I tried them).
