Question Game audio cutting/looping, game freezing, textures not loading before freeze

I have been having some troubles recently with my PC, all components are ok, my GPU, my CPU and my memory sticks, the problem is in my games-only hard drive: a Seagate Barracuda 1000GB

Info:

Games lag a ton on that hard drive for no apparent reason, since if i boot up the same game in my other hard drive it runs smoothly, with no freezing

Generally the freezing happens with no pattern, it's random when it can occur, but when it happens the game audio either cuts or it loops, and/or the textures (say in a open-world game, for example) don't load (they stay in the pre-texture, y'know? the low-res texture that loads BEFORE the actual texture, they stay in that state and the game FREEZES) or even some parts of the game's world itself won't load, after a short period (about 30 seconds or maybe 1 minute in max) the game resumes, but not so shortly after it happens AGAIN

I figured the only way this problem started is either a software problem, maybe a driver problem, or maybe my HD itself is giving away it's last breath

I downloaded SeaTools, Seagate's own tool for troubleshooting, i'll run a long test when i have the time (it takes 2 hours) and if anybody replies to this thread i'll post the results

If i can't resolve this problem, by any means, i'll try formatting my computer, any suggestions are welcome

I ran a complete generic test, it says "Approved", but the problems still happen???

I tried running LatencyMon in the background while playing a game until the freezing occurs, this is what i got...

No spinning hard drive's issues are worth the trouble with Crucial's MX500 1 TB at only $107 on Amazon...

You can see if CrystalDiskInfo shows any pending or reallocated sectors,,,

You can also try a GsmartControl short or long test....

Show i check CrystalDiskInfo while playing or on idle state??? I checked ir right now and from what i saw, everything seems to be OK, i'll send a print



I'll try GsmartControl, i fear it may give the same results as SeaTools, really running out of ideas to solve this problem
