Hello, I am using an Afterglow controller for some games, but my problem is that the y-axis is screwed up for all my games on the right stick. If I move it just a little bit, it will either move very slowly or not at all, and if I move it just a bit more after that, it will suddenly go super fast. I do not have this problem with my x-axis.

I went to joy.cpl on my computer to test it, and found nothing wrong during the tests! The test bar in the program moves perfectly fine and at the same sensitivity no matter if I push the x-axis or y-axis. However, when I go into a game, I'm still stuck with the annoying y-axis. Is there anything I can do to change this? Thanks!

What version of windows are you using ?

Anyway if you click on start in windows.

In the search box type : Game controllers.

To your left of the search result bar you should see. - Setup usb game controllers.

Left click on the search result to run it.

You should see your USB game pad listed in the main window that opens.
Hi light it with a left click, then click on the properties tab of the window.

In the next box that opens click on the settings tab at the top of the small window or box that pops up.
Click on the calibrate tab, and follow the on screen instructions.

Once done click apply, ok.

Now test your game pad in a game to see if the Y-axsis problem is resolved.

Let me know if it worked.

It`s likely that all you needed...

It`s likely that all you needed to do was re calibrate the game pad for X and Y axis in windows os darien.
It should work fine after following the instructions above.

Let me know how you got on, or if it worked for you.
