When trying to play smite, after a few minutes my screen starts flikkering as shown in the amature mobile video. I have tried several things including complete reinstallation of windows and drivers. My system is not overclocked and doesnt overheat. It has also occured during other games.

Specs:
Motherboard: MSI 870A-G54
CPU: AMD Athlon II x4 640
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7750
PSU: GX Bronze 450W
System: Win 8.1 x64
2 HDD's: 1,2 TB

Could be the card itself going bad. Even if your temps are in check, and not overclocked, cards can still go bad overtime for various reasons. Usually, when you get odd colors, ect, and it's not drivers, I'd suspect gpu/vram/mosfet overheating. What are you temps like via software readings?

Here is a pic of the temperature readings from amd overdrive, because the game crashes after 5 minutes or so, i can't get real readings of in-game so this is when idle.

Also i have an old card here geforce 9600 gt if i download the driver for this card am i then able to use it? Because i tried it once without driver the monitor didn't get a signal.

You can download a program called GPU-Z. It has an option to record a continuous log file for video card temps, voltages, fanspeed, ect. In game or not, it keeps recording until you close the program(should still have a file created even if a crash occured). For the 9600gt, you should still get a signal even without a driver. If you dont, it would be a cable problem, card problem, or compatibility problem with your motherboard. Sometimes, this can be fixed with a BIOS update.

Here are the readings of the highest temperatures. This is about right before i closed the game so that my computer wouldn't crash.

Also this board has the newest BIOS version.

edit: I just mounted the geforce and i got to play the game without it flikkering. The geforce is a lot weaker and i had 20-40 frames lower on same settings (max settings).
