Symptoms

Most of my games crash. Some crash instantly, some take from a few minutes to a few hours before they crash. I also get .pak errors in CSGO and missing files in some other things (even in my USB stick for some reason). I've had this problem ever since I built my PC two years ago.

Not all games crash but games that do crash is Overwatch (sometimes). Project cars on every launch (sometimes saying ACCESS_VIOLATION_EXCEPTION or sometimes saying .pak error). After a while some games start to lag, I'm thinking it could be a PSU issue at this point but im not sure).

SPECS

AMD FX 8320 CPU
HyperX Fury Blue RAM 1866MHz 2x4GB
MSI GTX 1060GB OC GT 3GB Armour GPU
MSI 970A-G43 PLUS Motherboard
500 Watt PSU (Aero Cool Integrator)

Temps are fine
40 C GPU
Always below 40 CPU (liquid cooled)

Any help is appreciated, so far no one has been able to fix this xD

Thanks!

Okay again, vague and generalized "some games not others' doesn't answer or tell us to look for anything as a problem. What exactly is the 'crash' you see? The Game shuts down? The computer freezes? what is happening.

If you can't logically break it down to some specific REPEATABLE examples (everytime in XYZ when I enter Room A, not Bravo I crash) then maybe you should consider using a Console (PS4) instead as being on PC your ON YOUR OWN or you can PAY someone to work on the computer for you in person that you can demonstrate the issues.

Okay your going from a very very generic 'things broken' question to a very specific issue. Is it 'games' or just CSGO. In CSGO simply go under STEAM and go to the properties of the game listed, there is a consistency check of the files. If any missing it will resolve it. A USB stick has nothing to do with a HDD, and can 'lose' file and data easily because they are disposable SHORT TERM memory storage. Over long time the data corrupts or is 'erased' when scanned to 'see what is on it' as 'garbage files' and purged.

Now we need to be more specific otherwise, are these Single Player games or always Internet gaming?
Have you used a temperature monitoring software like Afterburner or maybe Rainmeter and have the games in Window mode?
Which titles are you having issues? Is there titles you don't?
Does this happen when using say Word? Or when watching Youtube?
Have you installed antivirus software, made sure it is up to date and run a scan?
Have you installed a antimalware software, made sure it is up to date and run a scan/?
Have you scanned the hard drive the games are on for errors ?

So on and so on.. there is alot of questions that can cover "Most of my games crash. " because it is so generic like "my car makes a noise" - well all cars make noise, speakers are playing music, A/C cranking out cold air, you run the engine, hit the brakes, what do you mean precisely and WHEN precisely does it happen.

I have done all of these things and everything has come back positive. The crash happen on most games, more commonly on bigger games. The games are both single player and multiple. Some games crash instantly, come games crash after a while.
