Game crashes windows 10.

I recently upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10. While doing this i also upgraded from a hard drive to an ssd. Sadly as of rectally all of my games crash at random. once second they are running just fine no issues, next im dash boarded and have to restart the game. It is just simply the game closes and i have to restart. No black screens no audio bugs. Frames are normal and i just cannot figure out why. I ran diagnostics on my ram, no issues were found. Please help me out thank you.

CPU: AMD FX 8210
RAM: 20gb DDR3
GPU: GTX 1060, 8gb
Power supply: EVGA 900W
Windows 10 pro

Sadly the replacement of the sata cable did not correct the issue of games crashing...

You cpu is old, but shouldnt cause problem.

You are better off install clean windows . And install drivers needed.

That'weird ram config. Is it 8+8+2+2GB?
Ram compatibility might be causing issues there. I'd leave 8+8GB and remove the rest.

I believe i have fix it. I had a bad sata cable or port. I have had a disk read error for a while now. so i just fixed that and now i belaive this should fix the crashing issue...

if not i will sure try the ram config and honestly i had forgotten about the extra ram in there.
