Every games cutscene is horrible, its choppy and the colours are in squares. My monitor i got really cheap last year for £90 its a acer kg241. Could this actually be the problem?
Specs:
Ryzen 5 3600
Rx5600xt oc
Samsung qvo 1tb
Wd 120gb
Evga 600w
P.s I'm on the look out for a new 1440p, 144z under £300. Any recommendations?

any pictures or screenshots?
try new cables or other ports if you have any

for the 1440p 144hz monitor, it's pretty rare or if there is even any under 300$ but one brand i could recommend for you to search up is xiao mi. if you can get them at decent prices you'll get a 165hz 1440p Curved IPS panel for a bit over 300$ (in my country atleast)

My max budget is under £400 as I know all the decent monitors are around this price range.

cutscenes are usually 30fps. The freesync of your monitor might not be operating correctly below the rated freesync range and is causing issues. Try turning off freesync to see if that's the problem.

Also, do you have your refresh rate set correctly in your graphics properties, should be 75hz for this monitor.
