Hello everyone,

On September I'm gonna go to University and I'm gonna study game development and design. I have a desktop already, but I really don't want to take it with me, because when I come to visit, I won't have a computer. At first I had the idea of buying a laptop, but I quickly realized that if I was willing to spend a decent amount of money on a system, I should just build a new desktop. So my question is this; What is a good desktop that will be able to run Unity and Blender. My budget is 1000-1200$ (operating system and monitor included), if it is possible to build one for less, I am glad to hear your suggestions :)

Solution
You should be able to get a student copy of windows, and not a clue why they would use Blender.

Toward the top of your budget.
