[SOLVED] game feels laggy on current resolution (1280x960).

Game feels laggy on current resolution (1280x960).My monitor is kinda old but i have 250+fps on all resolutions including 1280x960 but only this one feels laggy.Monitor is really old LG native res 1440x900.Im planning on upgrading it but i dont think the monitor is the problem.The game is cs go.

You don't mention any specs of your computer. So just guessing here:
I've heard something about some recent Nvidia drivers crippling performance in CS GO. Try updating drivers to latest version to see if it helps.

yes always under 60ms in competitive games

If you don't already have it, install MSI Afterburner and get some live numbers up on screen to get a look at what is going on when you think it feels laggy.

CSgo should not be causing and issue on an i5 but those frame rates might be a bit high for it.

what should i exactly look for ? when i "benchmark" it.

Mainly looking for if your CPU is maxing out and causing frame drops

Are you connected with a DVI cable or is it older VGA ?

its vga to hdmi adapter BUT as i say for 100th time only on this res i feel it laggy

vga to hdmi adapter is highly likely causing the issue, that is an active adapter that converts analog to digital

If the monitor has DVI in, get a HDMI to DVI cable they are passive as both run digital, picture should look a little better and should have the throughput to handle the higher frames at a higher resolution

i actually play on 1280x1024 which is 5:4 but i want to play on this one.(and yes at 1280x1024 it is smooth)
