Game Flashing Green in Game Only

Hello,

Recently my screen is flashing green when I open a game (rainbow six, league of legends, etc). So I checked any driver update, there was one, I did it, reboot my computer, but it still appears...

I looked up online and tried but it didn't helped me.. I saw it could be caused by a overheat but I really don't think this is the problem.. I already got this problem.

Can you guys tell me what is wrong ?

Specs : Alienware Area 51
Intel Core I7 5820K
32gb Ram
2x Nvidia Gtx 960
Dell Monitor 4K

Change your monitor refresh rate from 60 to 59 and see it that helps resolve it.

Thank you for your reply, where can I change it to 59 ? In settings I can only put 60, 30 or 29 ...

You should be able to change it in Nvidia Control Panel when your at the desktop. Don't change the FPS in your game settings.

It only shows 60 and 30 in Nvidia control panel.. Maybe it is because I am plug with a Display Port?

Maybe, anyway you can try a HDMI cable? The reason I ask is because I borrowed a friends Samsung 4K HDTV and I had the exact same issue and the way I fixed it was changing the monitor (TV) refresh rate to 59. TBH I can't remember if I changed it in Nvidia Control Panel or the desktop properties.

Ok I figured out the problem, it was because my SLI was activated and somehow it makes this...

As a side note I did call Samsung who did help me out and did ask them if the green flashing was damaging the TV at all and they said no, I would think it would be fine for your Dell.

IMO I wouldn't want to run a 4K monitor just on a single 960 as your need as much power as you can get for gaming.
