Hi, can someone please help. This happened twice so far, while I was playing a game the screen freezes and a loud buzzing noise happens. What might be the problem here. GPU, CPU, overclocking stability, motherboard, maybe my nvme drives. Or perhaps nothing is wrong just a random glitch. Everything seems fine, I have been using this build for about 2 months, and I and on it everyday, this has only happened twice. Anyone familiar with this scenario, anyone know what this might be?

Further more, I am updating this, I may have solved the problem. the issue, my DRAM. I have 32g of g.skill ddr4 that is suppose to run at 3200 frequency. but for some reason in my bios is was set to a very low frequency. I This this may be the problem. 🙁

i7-6700k 4.7ghz 1.285 v. DDR4 3200 frequency 32g, I just set it that frequency for some reason it was running much lower. EVGA 1080ti ftw3 PXOC gpu clock +100 Mem clock +500. very low temps under 60c 70% fan curve. corsair hx 1200i PSU. MSI XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM Motherboard. 2x 250g nvme 960 pro. INWIN 101 case.

It happened once in Witcher 3 and the other time in Battlefield 1. It has not froze in windows or any other program. I this is was the ram it was set to a very low frequency. I do not know why I thought I had it at 3200mhz. It is suppose to run at that speed.

I will update the GPU drivers, I think there is a new version out. Also so far I been in witcher 3 for about a hour with the new dram frequency and it is working with no crash as of yet.
