Game freezes and I get the last 1 second of the game sound buzzing

Hey there, I have a custom built PC, it has a 1000W PSU, two GTX 770's in SLi, 16GB of ram and I've had the problem before where a game would go black and the pc would shutdown, it turns out I didnt have a powerful enough PSU and upgraded from 700W to 1000W and now when I play GTA V on optimized settings via the GeForce experience the game will run for a random amount of time before suddenly freezing and the sound may continue for a few seconds before buzzing loudly of maybe the last 0.1 seconds of sound and then I have to force restart by holding in the power button on my case or by unplugging the system and to be honest right now I'm stumped and have no idea what it could be.

I doubt its the PSU you have more than enough power, are your drivers updated. I would uninstall the GPU drivers using Driver Cleaner and reinstall
