Game freezing (Ctrl Alt Delete) fixes it

I recently moved to a new location and started to experience game freezing issues. the screen will freeze (sometimes turn black), but i still have audio and game response to keyboards presses. If i control alt delete, then cancel, the game becomes stable again. I can alt tab and use other programs fine, but the game remains frozen until I control alt delete. This happens randomly, about every minute or so. I thought it was the new internet, but I no longer think that is the case. Occasionally, the entire computer will freeze, and I need to force shutdown. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Intel i5 3570k
nVidia GTX 650 ti
8g drr3 ram
Corsair 430W PSU
ASRock Z77M mobo

CPU temp - idle, gaming (from bios/uefi)

Try re-installing the game.

cpu core temps are around 50 degrees Celsius so i think that is normal

If that's idle, its a bit hot. If its gaming then its fine.

Re-install the game.

I've tried it with multiple games (guild wars 2/archeage) same problem on both

Try a diffferent graphics card. Try your graphics card in another PC.

Unfortunately, I do not have access to another computer until the weekend. I'm not sure if this helps, but i did a log with GPUz and here were the results:

The log shows a drop in GPU/Memory Controller load at the start of the freeze (Highlighted part). Crtl Alt Delete brings the readings back to normal.
