Hey,

I've been encountering some frustrating issues with Epic Games Battle Royale game and I'm hoping someone here might have some insights, suggestions or a solution.
Essentially, my game keeps freezing during play, ranging from quick hiccups to longer pauses lasting up to 10 seconds.
Strangely, some sessions go smoothly with no freezes at all, while others are plagued by 4-5 freezes.

Here's a brief rundown of my system specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X
GPU: RTX 4060 TI
RAM: 16 GB

I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including switching between DirectX12 and 11, reinstalling the game, clearing Cached Shaders, and tweaking the graphic settings to lower settings. Also did a DDU of everything GPU related. However, none of these steps resolved the issue.

One observation I've made is that the freezing seems to become more frequent the longer my current sessions goes on, although I am not entirely certain about this oberservation...

At this point, I'm considering whether there might be issues with my RAM or VRAM causing the problems, or if it is possibly a random bug specific to this game (my own research lead to other people with good hardware having more issues than with worse hardware).

I would greatly appreciate any help or advice you can offer. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

When using DDU did you remove all GPU drivers(Intel, AMD and Nvidia) before you manually reinstalled the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command?

SSD: Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB
GPU: INNO3D GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Twin X2 OC
PSU: be-quiet (unknown wattage + model)

(We) removed AMD and NVidia GPU drivers with DDU, then reinstalled the lasted GPU drivers for NVidia
