Question Game Keep Crashing

So, here is the thing. I cant play my game at all as it will keep crashing after several minutes in the game. im not sure what is causing it. it all started recently after I upgraded my gpu from a 960 to a 1070ti. no overclocking or any sorts.

my system specs:
i5-6500
1070ti
8gigs of ram
enough storage
some cheap ass 650w bronze psu

temperature underload are
GPU 70-80 degrees
CPU 40-50 degrees

I suspect the psu might be causing the problem. but im not sure and I don't want to buy a new psu to find that the problem still occur. anyone with experience please help

what are the chances that the psu isn't the fault?? what if I get a better psu and the problem still persist. that would be disappointing to have spent on nothing.

appreciate you replying but it isn't quite helping. but I guess ill just get a new PSU. how is a Silverstone strider plus series. will that be good?
