Question game keeps freezing

i don't really know where i exactly needs to post this one but here it is.

i recently upgraded my cpu cooler to an Corsair h100i and since the upgrade my game freezes. It is still playing and i can hear every thing of movement or whatever i'm doing but the image is frozen. When i alt+tab out and back in it works for like 2 seconds and then does the same and sometimes it will just run smoothly without any bug or stutters.
I noticed btw that when i boot the led debug from the DRAM doesn't blink once, don't know if it has to do with anything.

Windows also had an update recently, so I'd visit the motherboard/download website and update at least any audio and Lan drivers as that kind of freeze is most common from those 2 driver conflicts.

LED debug light probably will not blink as bios is using cmos settings for the ram. If you do a hard boot/reset and force bios to actually go searching for all the components, it should blink then. As long as it's not staying lit, no worries.
