Game Lag spikes

I am new to the forrums and apologize if this is not the correct place to ask but,

Since today, I have been experiencing lag spikes every 60 seconds for about 3 seconds at which I cant properly play the game. I thought it might be a game dependent issue but it's across multiple games. Tf2, csgo, css, dota. My internet connection is quite stable, I have re-installed my drivers, steam and updated my gaming software.
I am not a very techy guy so I would like some help.

My computer specs:

Acer Predator:
Intel® Core™ i5-4460 processor
Quad-core 3.20 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745
1 TB HDD

All of the games that you have specified are run and managed by Valve. I would try to get some customer support since they all run on Steam clients (and CSS, CS:GO and TF2 all run on a similar engine)
