Hello,
I have been having trouble with my computer lately and I was hoping someone here could help.
Specs:
Windows 8.1 64-bit
Processor: AMD Athlon X4 860K Quad Core Processor 3.70GHz
RAM: 16GB
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 750
(I'm unsure what else is needed)
The issue I have been having over the past months is that when playing online games it will lag out for no reason that I can see. As far as I can tell my ping is fine, yet the connection consistently feels laggy.
I mainly play two games: Rocket League, and Dota 2.
In Rocket League, I have held the menu button whilst the lag/rubber banding occurs and my ping level has remained the same (20-30 usually).
In Dota 2 the screen lags completely, whilst my mouse can still move and click, but there is no response from the game for several seconds.
At first I believed this was a driver issue, and so updated to the latest version but the problem has persisted. I have also tried to restore to a previous driver version, again without any improvement.
I have been searching forums for the past week and have not found a solution that has worked, although I may have missed something.
Hopefully someone better informed than myself can give me some advice, as the issue has persisted.
Many thanks!
