Game Lag

Hey, I just bought BF3 premium edition and it lags so bad it is almost impossible to play. I have looked at a lot of videos and forums for an answer but every time I find a potential solution there are many comments saying it does not work and that it made the lag worse. I have yet to find a solution that is agreed upon by most. Any suggestions?

Internet-
Download speed- 26 mb/sec
upload- 4.5 mb/sec
ping- 20ms

System-
amd fx6300
sapphire hd 7850
8gb 1600 vengeance
700 w psu
windows 8 64 bit

Is it internet or graphical lag that's making it impossible to play? Also, what settings do you play on?

Im not sure of the difference between lags. I usually play in ultra with fps between 60-80. I have tried lowering the settings, even to low, and makes little difference in the lag.

What's your ping. If you have high ping it could be internet lag. Make sure you go on servers in the same region as yours.

When using the browser go to regions and select Whatever region and uncheck all others and click your country/ closest country. You should have not lag at all then. Also stop all downloads, steaming I.e. Kick your siblings off of Netflix and Hulu!

first off the 7850 wont do 60-80 fps on ultra on high maybe but not ultra. the chances are your seeing a max of 80 trhen your getting a droop to under 60 which is causing the lag.
secondly your cpu is a bit of a joke in gaming terms although it will handle bf3 quite well.
to sort your lag issues try turning on net smoothing. menu option
limit your fps to 60 and no more. (use the bf3 config maker for this). dont use vsync just limit it in the config.
