Game lags really but twitch stream looks fine (OBS)

I just recently attempted to stream gameplay to twitch. Rocket Legaue had worked fine with no dropped frames or anything, but when I tried Battlefield 1, the stream looked great, the game from my end seemed laggy and the screen was tearing.

- Ryzen 2600x
- R9 280x
- 8gb ram

Figured out it was acting all laggy and screen tearing on the TV, but if I stream on my monitor, those issues go away.
