How's your Finnish? Thief: Deadly Shadows was reviewed in the biggest and I
think it's fair to say, the best Finnish games magazine "Pelit" (translates
to "Games"), and received 90/100. It was also on the cover, albeit in title
only. Roughly translated the cover blurb said: "The triumphant return of
the father of the stealth games." They always provide succinct English
summaries of the main stories at the end of the magazine. I'll take the
liberty of quoting them: Pelit 6-7/2004 "Thief: Deadly Shadows (Ion
Storm/Eidos) is a worthy successor for a classic game series. The levels
are a bit cramped, linear and samey, and the NPC behavior could be more like
real human beings, less like Memento characters."
