game not working

Cricket 07 and other games don't run on my hp laptop core i-5 42 and I am using windows 8.1. Games crash the desktop/ Whenever I try to run a game system is hanged completely. please help me.

Try changing the compatibility settings on the Properties. Hope this helps.
