I'm not really sure why this is happening. I recently fully wiped my PC and ever since I installed all of my old programs and updated my drivers, everything seems to go down the sh*tter when too many programs are open. For example, I play ArmA 3 and if I have firefox open on another monitor, my monitors go black and it either refreshes back to desktop or my PC crashes. Usually just refreshes back to desktop though. This has only been an issue after I wiped my PC. I tested it earlier where I joined an ArmA 3 server with no mods, and opened firefox. Nothing else open on my PC. Nothing in my performance tab of task manager was above 70%, I open a youtube video and boom, it all shuts down. This seems to happen only with ArmA 3 and GTA V. I can play LoL and Rocket League with firefox and spotify open and nothing crashes or starts acting up. Any help?

Sometimes you will not experience the crash right away, but you are saying that as long as you have firefox open the game crashes? Have you tested by loading a YouTube video and letting it play THEN running your game and seeing if it crashes that way? Because if it doesn't then it's entirely down to the fact that you are switching out of the game and coming back, however, if the crash happens from having a YouTube video playing while playing your game (which we are testing by having you load the video before hand to rule out the variable of switching out and back into the game) then obviously something else is happening.
With some games, they are not very well optimized when it comes to directx. So if these games are in fullscreen mode and you are switching out to the desktop to open another program then it will cause a crash. Or when doing all of that but then switching back to the game it will cause a crash. This has happened to me as well, you need to use borderless windowed mode if the game supports it, or use just regular windowed mode. using either of these modes however will result in the loss of certain graphical and performance gains that can only be achieved in full screen mode. But the difference is negligable. Try using windowed are borderless windows mode and see if the problem persists.

It doesn't crash when I tab back in. It will just crash as I'm playing.
