Game randomly closes under load

I am describing the situation when playing the game The Witcher 3, but I'm pretty much sure it is a windows 10 issue.

When I am in Novigrad (biggest city in-game), after a while (couple of minutes) the game just exits and drops me to the desktop. No error message, no nothing.

My specs:

i5-6600k
amd r9 380
Asrock z170m extreme 4
8gb hyperx fury 2133
corsair cx430

I am suspecting the psu can't push enough juice to the system, is that possible?

It may very well be your PSU, the Corsair CX with the green lettering are pretty bad. The new CX and CXM 450 watt and up Corsair PSU with the black lettering are pretty good budget PSUs.

So temps wouldn't be my issue right? Cpu is around 50 degrees, graphics card around 75, ssd is a bit high with 50-52 celsius.

But as far as I know, if gpu temp is too high, the picture goes off, if the cpu is too high, the system shuts down.
So I guess windows 10 decides that the game exe is too power hungry and executes the program.
