[SOLVED] Game recommendations for your old man.

Does anyone know of a good age of empires type game that my old man would be interested to play. He had Medal of Honor Allied Assault, but he wasn't very good at the shooter game type.
he used to play age of empires quite a lot, I want to try and get my old man off the mobile games. I think he would really enjoy a good pc game of his style. I just need to find the right one. Any new-ish Strategy (Age of Empires) type game recommendations??

I believe Thrones of Brittania: A Total War Saga is a good strategy game for e.g. troop placement, strategy, etc.

It's currently on Steam for £30 and was released early 2018
