game resolution problem

My games require a resolution of 1366 x 768 to run. This is the max resolution my laptop runs at which has been set. However though im running a 1366 x 768 resolution on my laptop the games won't run saying i need a resolution of 1366 x 768 to run though if already set this on my screen resolution under control panel any ideas?

If you have a gpu controller prog (like NVidia control center) try setting the resolution there. Also make sure the games aren't giving you more info in the error, ex: you need a minimum res. of 1366x768 AND such and such amount of video memory or ram.

No guarantees but it's somewhere to start. Also try the game manufacturer's page and see if anyone else has reported similar probs.
