game says unable to save

hi there,we installed cricket 2002 on my husbands computer which is running windows 7 but when we go to save games it says unable to save can anyone please explain to me why this might be happening.thanks.

It may be caused by an incompatibility issue since a 2002 game pre-dates the launch of Windows 7 by a considerable number of years.
