I am a gamer, and recently i purchased a new PC. After setting everything up on my new PC i downloaded a game i frequently play. When i went to connect to the servers, it said i couldn't connect but other people can. I did some research and so far everything i have found (Including forum posts here on Toms Hardware) hasn't worked for me. I disabled my anti-virus programs, i disabled my firewall, i added my games client to my fire wall inbound rules, my port is closed but i added my port to my firewalls inbound rules as well and nothing worked. This screenshot below is a picture of the results of typing ipconfig in Command Prompt. I have never seen this in CMD before i have typed in ipconfig before and never seen it. I am wondering if that is the problem, but i am completely stumped on what to do...

UPDATE!!!: i found out the problem, and it turns out it was a faulty client on the game's side, nothing actually wrong with anything relating to my PC or networks...

In your command prompt window.

Type: ipconfig /all

Check that your router if you are connected to it.
Has given the Ethernet adapter the correct IP in it`s ip pool it gives out.
check that the subnet address is also present and correct of 255.255.255.0

And that the router has also issued the adapter with two valid DNS addresses.

If in windows the Adapter shows disconnected.
Go to control panel and system and security.
Click on device manager and verify the adapter and its driver are installed and it is showing in the network devices.
If it is right click on the adapter. select properties.
Look at the link speed option.select speed and duplex.
Set the speed to 100Mbps Full duplex and apply.

If your router does not have 1 Gbps transfer rates, or deal with the speed it is why the adapter is disconnected.
Lowering it`s speed on the Adapter side to 100Mbps will allow connection to the router.

Its not my connection. It's another problem, my internet connects fine, i am using my PC on internet posting this. I have 2 wireless adapters and both work fine, and i have tested the problem on both and it don't work on either.
