Ok... this is really grinding my gears.
First of all before anything else, here are my specs:
Don't know if I'm missing any component for this problem but oh well.
So whenever I'm trying to play a game, the ingame sound randomly cuts off but whatever sound I had running in the background, be it Spotify or a chrome tab, It keeps playing.
This has left my mind boggled and can't figure for the life of me what the hell is going on.
I've updated sound drivers, GPU drivers but still can't figure it out.
Recently tried playing Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, and the sound randomly cuts off, I can be standing still without using my mouse or keyboard and the sound cuts off anyways, but any other sound coming from anywhere besides the game plays fine.
Recap: the ingame sound keeps cutting off while whatever sound playing outside the game keeps playing without problems.
If you have any idea on how to solve this annoying problem, any help would be appreciated!
