Game stuttering, memory leak?

A few weeks ago my games started to stutter while in game. Later i found out it was a memory leak and so i downloaded cleanmem to fix it which has to some extent where my games run smoothly for 20 minutes and then will freeze for about 10 seconds. How do i fix this or should i return my GPU for a new one?

CPU: i5-6600
Mobo: gigabyte h110m-2h
GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 AMP
RAM: 2x4GB hyperx fury DDR4

you should increase or replace your RAM if you have problems with it and not the GPU ^^

boot with memtest86+ installed on an empty usb flash drive

check temperature with furmark stresstest for about 10minutes and post the highest temp.
run intel processor diagnostic tool, how high is its max. temp. ?

Yeah that sounds a lot more like an overheating processor or failing hard drive than a memory leak.
