I was experiencing a lot of crashes and finally narrowed it down to XMP.

After turning on XMP in the bios, I get random crashes while gaming. I don't understand why because the memory is supposed to be 3200mhz. I'm not going beyond that afaik.

As a possible clue, I think the bios is changing more than just the clock speed after enabling XMP. See screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1F24fC1hWbJly62-v0mxbuhABRhCH3Qnh/view?usp=sharing

Here is my system: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/53317405

Any help appreciated!

Get the proper bios and mobo drivers.....test.

If no help put a copy of memtest86 on a flash stick.
Enable xmp and boot the stick.
Let it run....... no errors allowed.

Thanks but I’ve figured it out I think. I’ve had no crashes after several hours of gaming. First I updated my bios and I also changed the xmp profile to the one by asus which was in the advanced settings in the bios (instead of the stock profile of the ram). Not sure which one of these actions fixed the crashes.
