Game won't install

Hi. Running Windows 7 I have an old game on DVD which was installed and running fine. Haven't used it for a while, but now it won't start and doesn't show on control panel to uninstall. Tried to reinstall from the DVD, but get a message that a previous install exists. I searched for any folders/files and deleted them but still get the same message that previous install exists. Any ideas how I can get round this? The game is Myst V End of Ages.

I think there is an option to remove installed games and things from the reg

Probably you can download a registry cleaner...
