Having never played cs-source before i find it frustrating being a noob not
knowing wtf i am supposed to be doing other than fire..is their a link to an
on line manual..

Hi you dont really need a manual to find out what you have to do. If you are
playing a De_xxxxxx map basically you gotta plant the bomb in the bomsite if
you are a Terrorist or If you are a CounterTerroerist you gotta stop the
Terrorists planting the bomb.

If its a Cs_xxxxxx map you gotta rescue the hostages if you are CT or stop
the Hostages being rescued as T

Go to google and try counterstrike tips. There a thousands of CS sites. Just
keep playing you'll get into it. It takes a lot of practise to master

Kill everyone who's not on your team. If you are a terroist on a bomb map
(one called de_somethingh) then your job is to get the bomb planted and
defend it till it explodes, or on a hostage map (cs_something), stop the
couneter terrorists from rescuing the hozzies. If you are a counter
terrorist, on a bomb map try to stop the t's from planting the bomb, try to
defuse it if they plant it, or on a hostage map get the hostages and take
them to the rescue point (mostly this is close to or where you start).

You can also win by killing the opposing team (which is not as good as
achieving the objective).

The only FULLY lame thing you can do is spawn with the bomb as a t and be
away from your keyboard (AFK).

It's the same for everyone, at first you aint got a clue and if you go onto
a public server you get owned and flamed.

With the latest steam update (last tuesday) giving us bots, my best advice
is to start your own game with a couple of bots with bot level set to zero
on de_dust or cs_italy and keep playing until you is owning and flaming the
bots.

Ah well if FF is on, the other fully lame thing you can do is keep shooting
your team...... unless they're AFK :) shill a shitter losing a point though.

having played many fps...i have no problem witht he generic basics..its the
controls where i meet the hostages and find myself not knowing how to get
them to follow me..or do i hve to get the to follow me..what key does this
and alsowhat key plants the bomb...where do i plant it and where is it in
the first place...oh and thanx for the answers men...nice 1
