Gamecube backed up games

Hello,
I bought a basic gamecube and i have seen and tried to backup and play my own games on a none modded console but cant get them to work,
i have sony dvd-r double sided discs which i saw was the best ones to use,i have imageburn(iso burner),winrar,7-zip,i have a toshiba satellite(basically stock).

I am not to sure if i am missing anything or not but if anyone can help me that would be swell

This borders very closely on the line with piracy, so don't be surprised if it ends up getting locked. All I will say is that backed up games will not work unless you have some kind of modchip in your console that allows it to bypass certain checks. I am not sure whether the GameCube ever had something analogous to the Xbox softmods, but I will leave you to look into that on your own.

This is piracy, regardless if you 'own the games' or not. You are not allowed by game developers to make software copies of games even if you 'own them'.
