Games always getting to xbox 360 controls

When i play games like Roblox, Battleblock, and so on always instead of saying press e to enter it says some xbox 360 control like x or y. This is also when i dont even have the wireless dongle connected via usb. I have tried re installing drivers through the cd you get when buying but with no luck.

For battleblock specifically you are not supposed to use a keyboard at all, so it assumes you have a controller ready.

But it also is on games that arent only supposed to be with xbox controls like some fps games

It could be the way the games are configured now that you used a controller, I personally dont so Im working from the bottom up here.
If you can reset your settings in game it may make a difference.
