What games would a PC of this build be able to play AND if I were to record them, how smoothly would they run? (These are 2 different questions:
ex: you can play "x" but if you record with ---- it would run at "y")

Processor - Intel i5-3470s 2.9GHz Quad-Core
RAM - 2x4GB DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws X
Video Card - Sapphire 7870 GHz Edition 2GB OC
Hard Drive - Seagate 1TB 7200RPM
Power Supply - Seasonic M12II Modular 80 Plus Bronze
Case - DIYPC FM08-Blue Mid-Tower
Windows 10 Home 64 Bit

Solution
I mean if youre looking to record, in my opinion Nvidia GPU's would be the better option as shadowplay works wonders, minimal performance impact with a record feature to record the last <x> minutes. I mean this should be able to record anything with the correct OBS settings if you are gonna stick with something other than an Nvidia card. Only thing I could see possibly slowing down would be the CPU, especially on the more modern AAA titles
