[SOLVED] Games are crashing due to "not enough video memory"

When trying to play simple games like: F1 2020 or ACC on almost the lowest settings. They keep crashing when either entering the game or alt-tabbing. Sometimes even my browser says I don't have enough video memory available...
When looking at the minimum pc specs needed for these games, mine shouldn't be an issue. In the past with this very pc everything worked perfectly fine.

Pc-specs
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
A320M-HDV R3.0
GTX 1660
16gb of DDR 4 RAM

I've done everything I could find online: troubleshooting, disabling antiviruses, re-downloading my drivers, ... . I'm starting to think that it's unfixable.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

instead of just re-downloading your graphics drivers;
try completely removing all drivers, files, and settings with DDU.
then reinstall the latest package from Nvidia.

What are the specs of the PSU? Any way you can isolate the viedo card in another system... like a friend or something?

I'm having this same issue with my AMD 5700XT the last 3 days... weird...
