Question Games are dropping down to a constant FPS for some reason.

Ever since yesterday when I installed a windows update (not windows 11 im still on windows 10) my games have been dropping down to a constant 18-20 fps, never lower, never above. When it doesnt drop randomly im running at a solid 120 fps, this happens on every game, help please.

GTX 980, i7 4790k

sometimes it does it after 10 minutes, sometimes after 30, sometimes an hour, never above that though.
