Hello,

I am running a GTX970 and a FX-6300 OC'd to 4.4GHz, but when I play some game (Far Cry 3 for example) I easily get over 60FPS (80 on average), but the game isn't as smooth as I would like it to be.

I would like my game to be as smooth as this: (he's spanish probably, but whatever, it's about the video)

I am not sure what to do, since my framerate is already above my monitors refresh rate. Now don't get me wrong, the game is perfectly playable, but this is what I always wanted. Can anyone help? Thank you a lot.

Solution
1)your graphics card is hungry it will need more power and stronger psu to handle it.
2)you overclock you cpu it will need more power in overclocking.
Because the same problem is happen with me i have core i5 4570 ,r9 270x or corsair vs 550psu.when i play games in ultra or high setting the games becomes laggy i shocked because r9 270x handle wells on ultra setting so,i upgraded strong and heavy corsair tx750w it will handle it very nice and i will able to play 1080p on ultra settings
Yeah I tried that. It helps (not the smoothness shown in the video, but that's probably caused by the weaker CPU) in a way, but I'm getting this thing I call heavy input. Imagine holding a weight and trying to move your arm. That's the kind of effect, if you know what I mean. If that didn't happen it would be good enough.
