Question Games are using inbuilt graphics, and inbuilt graphics are reserving 2GB of RAM

I recently bought a new laptop, an MSI Alpha 15. This has a Ryzen 7 3750H with Radeon Vega mobile graphics, paired with a Radeon RX 5500M 4GB.

After noticing poor performance in games, I discovered that laptop is not only defaulting to the Vega mobile graphics, but is also reserving 2GB of my 8GB of RAM for the Vega graphics, further throttling the performance. I've done plenty of Googling and have found no solution that fits. Online, I see people who say you can stop the RAM from being reserved by freeing it in the advanced settings in the BIOS, however my bios is very basic and has no such option. Other than that, most everything I find online is specific to Nvidia cards.

I'm happy to provide other details if required. Thanks in advance for any help.
