Games capped at 60fps with my GTX 1060?

Alright so I have a GTX 1060 running with an i5 4460 and my games are (mostly) capped at 60fps, excluding csgo. It started off fine after i first installed my 1060 and my frames weren't capped at all. I had RTSS installed so thought it might be that so uninstalled it but with no success.

Yes, I have made sure that the framerate in-game isnt limited, like in overwatch i have it capped at 300fps but it's still locked at 60fps. I also installed LoL yesterday and for the first ten minutes it wasn't capped but then it suddenly capped.

Anybody know what could be causing this?

check your v-sync settings, either in game, or in the nvidia control panel. Having v-sync will cap your frames at 60.
