Hey guys, since about two days ago, my computer has been acting up with games exiting out after 2-10 minutes of playing time. The game just randomly exits out and sends me back to desktop. Happening with all current games I'm playing(Rocket League, Halo Infinite and GOTG). I checked the Event Viewer and about 80% of the time I get the error code 4101 which is "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered". I noticed this happened after I downloaded the newest NVIDIA drivers.

I have tried a ton of things such as:

-DDU and reinstalling latest drivers
-Rolling back drivers to a previous version
-Windows Updates
-Updating BIOS
-Monitoring GPU and CPU temps and readings and everything was normal
-Stressed test it to death using 3dMark with normal results
-Memory Tested RAM and passed with flying colors

My rig is only about 1 year old so I doubt anything has gone bad in it. Anyone have some tips to help me out? Thanks guys

Reduce power limit by 10%.
See how that performs.
okay so i underclocked my core clock by 162 and Memory clock by 182 and i was able to play two matches of rocket league so about 10-15 mins which is longer then before but over the time period, my frames gradually got less and less and before the game closed it was very choppy and was running between 50-100fps. I usually get 300+ fps

for some crashes i dont get the 4101 error but i always get a 10016 DisturbedCOM error but according to the internet it isnt an error that should be messing up my performance

To check, I just ran a stress test to the max and it had usual 3080 results compared with people online so im not sure why I am getting problems with actual games

I have rightly the same problem with you. I play F1 2021 and it will come up with 4101 error as soon as I close game. Try everything like update mainboard BIOS, clean install win11 os, even change RTX3080Ti to my older RTX2080, the 4101 error insists. I really doubt it is problem within driver and win11.

I even try to replace my corsair PSU to an antec platinum but still no sense. The only possibility left I think are 1)Win11 2)NV driver 3)MSI Z390 motherboard BIOS since everything works well before updating to Win11 and a msi beta BIOS to support Win11. I dont think I can buy a new Z690 with native PCIE 4.0 to replace my Z390 to exclude the possibility that PCI linker may result in this. Can only continue use with this weird error.
