Hey Guys
So at the end of last year I built this PC:
i7 8700k
16GB 2400Mhz Corsair RAM
250GB Samsung M.2 NVME SSD
500GB Samsung SATA SSD
1TB WD Black HDD
ASUS Prime Z370P MOBO
750w beQuiet! Straightpower PSU
I was using an EVGA GTX 970 in this machine whilst waiting for a new card with no problems. Then, at the end of Jan, I purchased an EVGA GTX 1080. When I got the new card, games were constantly crashing, either to their own launcher, or to a typical "Windows encountered a problem and needs to close Game.exe" error. The games run for between 15 minutes to an hour before crashing completely.
At that stage, I RMA'd my card believing it to be the issue. The retailer found no fault with the card sent it back, so I began more tests.
I ran OCCT for 3 hours, I ran 8 passes of memtest, and I ran furmark for a ridiculously long session. No problems found. At this stage, I went and purchased a new power supply (the one in the list above), still encountering the same problem.
So, I got back in touch with the supplier, explained the situation and they replaced the card. Now, with the new card (MSI Gaming RGB GTX 1080) I am encountering the same problem even after re-installing Windows completely. Heres the excerpt from the Event Viewer:

It is worth mentioning that since reinstalling Windows, I've had one BSOD which had THIS Event attached to it:
***********************************
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

After this happened the first time, I followed this guide online:

I haven't had any BSOD since this, but that text is still appearing regularly in my event viewer, tagged as an error.
I know this is a long post, and if any of you are gracious enough to have even read this far, thank you. ANY help would be appreciated on this, I've spent so much time and money getting this machine built and up and running, I'm just so gutted that im in this situation now.
Thanks in advance guys.
