I recent bought a rtx 2060 ( Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 OC 6G ) to replace my 1650 super but it crashed in all games i played. Sometimes within 1-2 minutes, sometimes 5-10. The screen freezed but the sound and background music continued to play, the charactered was still running too and it was kicked out to the desktop afterward.
First i thought that was becaused of insufficient PSU but when i stress test both my GPU and CPU at the same time it was running fine.
I also tried reinstalling driver with DDU, updating BIOS, motherboard and chipset driver, reseating graphics card, reinstalling the game, resetting pc, enable debug mode but the crash still persisted.
But last night, when i followed a method on youtube to lower GPU power limit to 72% and increase core clock + 160mhz ( MSI afterburner app), i could play the game longer before the crash happen ( 50 minutes) and this also help reduce temp from 81 to 71 degree
can anyone tell me how to solve this problem. My specs:
