[SOLVED] Games crash constantly on my custom pc

I have a gaming pc I built awhile ago. It has
Superclocked GTX 970
I5 3570K
8GB DDR3 RAM
Gigabyte mobo

With windows 10. It wants to crash on really any game that throws a lot at the gpu. Just the game crashes, not computer. Such as fortnite and battlefield 4. It’s never done this before and it just started recently. It’s gotten to the point where I’m in the lobby in fortnite and it just crashes in like 3 mins after I turn the game on and It’s very annoying. I’ve noticed when I’m in a game, it seems like my cpu is taking all the load instead of my gpu. Cpu is staying above 90 while my gpu is jumping around from 30-70. I’ve tried lowering graphics, turning on vsync, lowering frame rate cap and checked for driver updates I’ve tried everything I know to do and nothing seems to work. Please help I wanna play games.

Turn off the system.
Unplug it from the wall - Press the power button.
Open the case
Take the graphics card out
Put it back in
Try playing your games again.
Let me know how it turns out.
