Games crash on full screen mode on PC

Desperate for help, I have a R5 2600 and evga GeForce gtx 1080 I cannot play games on full screen because they will freeze and I have to restart my whole computer I made sure all the resolution and scaling settings are set correct in the control panel and Nvidia control panel I have a 180hz g sync monitor and everything is checking out nothing is over clocked either what could possibly be causing this? I have the latest chipset and graphics cards drivers as well I am windows 10 latest version as well everything as far as I know is up today’s even my bios

Do you have anything like fraps, overwolf or teamviewer installed? Anything that can record, monitor or share your screen can cause this.
