Got an rtx 3080 in Jan. Since day one it crashes 5 mins into a game. Mainly demanding titles. I have tried drivers, fixing game files etc. Swapped card to brothers similar pc setup and he has the same issue on his end with my card. His card in my pc runs perfect with the factory OC. So im certain its the card itself having an issue where it just cant run with the factory OC from Gigabyte. Anyone else ever have this? I can send it in for repair but I think if this is the case I can just wait a few years and send it to Gigabyte for maybe an upgrade in the future 😀 Thoughts?

10700k
z490 prime
corsair 32g 3200mhz
os on 250gig ssd, games on m.2 drives
rtx 3080 xtreme rev 1.0 gigabyte
corsair rm850x
windows 10

Brothers pc is identical other than the 10900k and his card being an msi 3080.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU if it's been in service for a while, apart from the make and model of the unit in question.

This only means we'll need the specs to his build as well, to see if there are any anomalies on your end.
