So what happens is a game will crash, followed by a message saying that AMD Wattman settings have been restored due to a unexpected system failure. Then if i boot up another game the pc will freeze, monitor goes into sleep mode and AIO RGB resets to default rainbow (i have it on static white). At this point i have no other choice than to restart the pc via power button.
Its as if things just lose connection to eachother, like the pc isnt on when its still on (atleast in the sense that i can see it running and whatnot).

Basically, what the heck?
The AMD settings resetting thing is pretty common from what i can tell by googling and it looks like it could just be AMD being incompetent. However, nobody like mentions their pc restarting or things like that.
Im going to be taking it to the technician this week most likely but thought id post here in case someone knows exactly what the issue is.

Alright so just to give an update.
I took the pc to the technician and basically everyone in the store said that its most likely an issue with the GPU in one way or another.

They tested the pc but since my issue is very random they were not able to reproduce the problem in the two days that they had it. It makes sense because i have had several days without anything happening but then it would happen several times in one day.
I did not feel like taking it home and continuing on to have issues so i just requested a new GPU and i went with a RTX 2080 Super. Now my pc works without any issues.
Also the 5700 XT had to ramp up the fans to 2000k+ rpm in order to keep it below 70c whereas the RTX is able to easily keep it below 70c with only 1100 rpm. Super quiet card. And having roughly 20-25 extra fps in games doesnt hurt either.

Mind you this was my second 5700 XT in just 6 months, so i was pretty much over it. Im going with Nvidia for the foreseeable future. Besides, if it was just driver issues that means that they have been unable to solve it for what, over a year now? Which is just... unacceptable honestly.

And since my pc works now flawlessly, it does indeed mean that the issue was with the GPU.
