Just swapped a ryzen 4600g with a 2200g. The pc with the 4600g runs fine but the one with the 2200g always crashes in the middle of games, any games i tried to run it with. It really doesn't give me any other issues except when i'm gaming. I already tried DDU twice, and installed what is according to google the best 2200g driver for windows 11- AMD Adrenalin 24.9.1 but to no avail.

I never had issues with the 2200g before the cpu swap where it was paired with a MSI B450 Gaming Max that also run Win 11. I also updated the bios of Biostar B550MH, and checked with Ryzen SMU checker to make sure 2200g is supported by its latest bios.

Current setup with the Ryzen 2200g- Windows 11, Biostar B550MH, XPG Hunter 2x8gb ddr4, Silverstone Strider 500w, and some random samsung 250gb mlc ssd from an old laptop. Anything else I can do short of formatting the pc?

oh btw the reason i did a cpu swap is because initially, the B550MH board won't boot with the ryzen 2200g and needed a bios update. too lazy to swap it back then after updating the bios and just kept using both pc's, with one in the living room and the other one in my room. been using for some 8-9 months now and never had issues with both.

Reinstall the chipset drivers for the motherboard.
games still crashed. however, i saw and decided to download the vga drivers listed on the same page as the chipset drivers. uninstalled AMD adrenalin, then installed the seemingly older vga drivers and so far I've been able to play 1 round of CS:GO and finish 1 game of Dota 2.

I'll try testing it more later.
