Games crashing and occasionally BSoD

Ive had an issue since rebuilding my pc. When I play older/source engine based games they constantly freeze and unfreeze. When I play more modern games I just freeze and crash. I also often get BSoD errors when launching my PC. Usually memory_management and video_schedular_internal_error.

Specs:
AMD R5 1500x
GTX 960
EVGA 500W PSU
Corsair 2400mhz 8GB DDR4 Ram Sticks (2x4GB)
ASRock A320M-HDV

If anyone knows the cause/the fix for this issue id appreciate the help. I have a feeling its my PSU as my monitor sometimes infinitely restarts but im unsure.

It is the ASRock A320M-HDV. Was extremely tired when I wrote this last night and wasnt bothered to find out the name of the board, sorry haha
